Indianapolis - Michael Ray "Handsome Mike" Bays, Sr., 64, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
Mike was born July 15, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dale and Bertha "Jean" Bays. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by Ingredion where he served as a millwright.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Kathy Bays; daughter, Laura Bays; son, Michael Bays, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexis, Justus, Michael III and Bradley; brother, Dale Jr Bays.; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mike's family will receive friends Saturday, June 8, 2019, from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 12:30 pm at the funeral home with Brother Don Smith officiating.
