Indianapolis - Melinda Marie Burke, 45, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. She was born November 1, 1974 in Indianapolis to Daniel Burke and Linda Fox Ross. She served her community as a pharmacy tech.

Mel is survived by her father, Daniel Vee Burke; mother, Linda Kay Fox Ross and her husband, Rodney; sister, Jennifer Burke; nephews, Levi Burke and Luke Riley; son, Zane Collins; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.

Mel's family will receive friends Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
