Indianapolis – Mary Jo Spalding, 65, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was born November 7, 1956 in Indianapolis to the late Jack and Roberta Beaman. She served her community as a nurse for over 35 years. She loved helping people and wanted to be remembered for being the best nurse.
Mrs. Spaulding also loved spending time outdoors and going to the Indianapolis Speedrome, but more than anything else, she loved her family. This included her extended family, which were all the friends and their kids that she met along the way. There was always someone staying with the family and those were her children too. She adopted the entire Frost family has her own.
Mrs. Spaulding was preceded in death by her son, Robert Spaulding; daughter-in-law, Angela Magers and grandson, Steven Frost, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Steve Frost) Spaulding; brothers, Gary Beaman and his wife, Cathy Beaman and John Beaman and his wife, Karen; granddaughter, Lilly Spaulding; great grandchildren, Stevie and Kayla Frost: and many other loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Spaulding's family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 12:00 p.m.
