Indianapolis - Marie Celeste Bowman, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016. Mrs. Bowman was born December 4, 1924 in Clarksburg, IN to the late William and Amy Lampe. She was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy where she served during World War II.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Bowman; son, Rusty Dodge III; daughters, Alma "Trinket" Miller and Lynn Passwaiter; and sister, Amy "Met" Hillman. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle O'Connor and Cindy Gerald, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends Saturday, January 16, 2016, from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis.
