Greenwood - Margherita Josephina Costantino, 98, a lovely, gracious lady, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018.
Mrs. Costantino was born Monday, May 31, 1920, in Logansport, IN to Italian immigrants Angelo and Fara Pizzo. The family moved to Indianapolis and Mrs. Costantino graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1937. Also, in that year, she married Silvio Costantino and shared life happily with him for 55 years. She was employed by Eli Lilly and Company for 32 years where she served as an executive secretary. She was also previously employed by Blocks and Bell Telephone.
Mrs. Costantino was preceded in death by her husband, Silvio Costantino and her son, David Costantino. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Keith and her husband, John; granddaughters, Marie Smith and Angela Costantino; grandsons, David McCarthy and Tony Costantino; and great grandchildren, Angelo, Demetria, Gia and Julian.
Mrs. Costantino's family will receive friends Monday, August 20, 2018, from 9 – 11 am at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 South Meridian Street, Greenwood, IN 46143. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. A committal service will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 435 West Troy Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in, Mrs. Costantino's memory, to Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.
