Margaret Menzies Brackett Bailey

Indianapolis - Margaret Menzies Brackett Bailey, 66, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was born June 19, 1956 in Waltham, MA. She was the second youngest child of the late Nathaniel and Anne Johnson Brackett. Mrs. Bailey graduated from Waltham High School in Waltham, MA in 1975. She married Eugene Bailey in Waltham, MA on June 25, 1988.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bailey was employed Damon Electronic where she served as an assembly worker and also met her husband, Eugene. Her favorite hobby was reading novels. She loved listening to Tom Jones and classic rock. Additionally, she enjoyed participating in family gatherings, doing needlepoint, watching old TV shows and going to concerts.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Eugene Bailey; daughter, Ash Parker; son, Kelvin Bailey; and sisters: Deborah Carmel, Elizabeth Brackett, Binney Brackett and Rebecca Brackett.

Mrs. Bailey's family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2022, from 2 to 3 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 3 pm.
