Mandi Shell Halcomb

Mandi Shell Halcomb, age 46 of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2022 in Indianapolis. She was born April 22, 1976 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Bryan Haddix and Tammi Skinner. Mandi was a 1994 graduate of Ben Davis High School and a graduate of PJ's Cosmetology School where she earned her degree in cosmetology. She married Mark Halcomb on June 20, 2015 at a friend's home in Indianapolis. Mandi was the CEO of M & M Contracting, LLC. She liked to spend time outdoors fishing, camping and hunting. Daytona Beach was one of her absolute favorite vacation spots. She also went on many other vacations and trips with her family and friends. Mandi enjoyed getting dressed up to go out. More than anything, Mandi loved her family and her friends.

Mandi is survived by her husband, Mark Halcomb; mother, Tammi Skinner-Bennington; father, Bryan Haddix; children, Myranda, Kayla, Lexus, Greyden, Nevaeh and Brayden; grandchildren, Madison, Zayden, Damon, Zoey, Cyriah and James Jr.; Sherri and Terry, Timothy and Mary and Timothy Jr.; and many other cousins and close friends.

Mandi is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hank and Helen Skinner.

A funeral service celebrating Mandi's life will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service on Friday. Burial will follow the funeral at Washington Park East Cemetery.
