Luis Mario Corrales

Luis Mario "Rico" Corrales, age 57 of Indianapolis and formerly of Miami, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born February 8, 1965 in Panama City, Panama the son of Gustavo and Carmen (Triana) Corrales. Rico attended Miami Killian High School. He liked to watch and play both football and baseball. Rico's grandkids meant the world to him and he loved nothing more than to spend time with them.

Rico is survived by 4 children, Carmen Abner, Toni (husband Gavin) Wheeler, Justin (wife Paytton) Skelton and John Williams; 3 sisters, Elena Bringas, Maria Corrales and Rosita Palacios; 11 grandchildren, Cayden Ford, Cale Ford, Justin Cherry, Jr., Naiya Cherry, Rylee Skelton, Brielle Wheeler, Justin Skelton, Jr., Mia Lucas, Blake Skelton, Aria Wheeler and Dani Lucas; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Rico is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Brittney Ford.

A funeral celebrating Rico's life will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the funeral home.
