Lora Jane Oldaker

Lora Jane Oldaker, 79, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. 

Jane was born June 8, 1945 in Seymour, Indiana. She was the daughter of Carl G. and Cleta Mae Gosman. She married Oren D. Oldaker Sr. and they shared many wonderful years together. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Daughter Melissa, and by her Husband Oren. 

After graduating from Franklin Central High School, Jane enjoyed a successful career at Continental Life Insurance and retired in 1996. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her devout commitment to her family, who were always her top priority. She is survived by her children, Robin L. (Patrick) McGrath, Oren D. Oldaker Jr. (Cathy Myer), and Jerry E. (Angela) Grill. Lora’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jonathan G. Oldaker (Allie Hotka), Garrett M. (Kayla) Moore, Amanda J. Moore (Corey Greene), Luke M. Hodges, Noah Grill, Kyler Grill, Ainsley Baer, Addison Baer, and Ryker Baer; and two great-grandchildren, Kassidy Scheib and Jack Moore.

 A funeral service to honor Jane's life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227 with Pastor Randy Perry and Pastor Don Bates officiating. Friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Garden 1977 South SR 135 Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
