Lisa Noelle Sissom

Franklin - Lisa Noelle Sissom, 44, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, October 28, 2018.

Lisa was born April 16, 1974 in Indianapolis, IN to Toni Berglund and the late William Jack Doss. She graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 1992. Lisa was employed by the VA Medical Center where she served as a supervisor in the Health Benefits Unit.

Lisa had a great sense of humor and a quick wit that endeared her to all who knew her. She loved concerts and roller coasters. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. One of her friends commented that Lisa had more friends than time, but that the time she did have was spread generously among those she loved.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, William Jack Doss. She is survived by her beloved son, Noel Sissom; mother, Toni Berglund and her husband, Tim; sister, Jackie Blair; niece, Kimber Blair; nephew, Stephen Blair; and many other beloved family members and devoted friends.

Lisa's family will receive friends Friday, November 2, 2018, from 4 – 8 pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow Saturday morning at 10 am at the funeral home.

Lisa was kind and forgiving, so please honor her memory by doing something good for someone else. She was also hilarious, so do your best to make someone else smile.
