Pendleton, KY - Lewanna Lee Cutter, 85, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born September 10, 1936 in Indianapolis to the late Anthony Lott and Fern Curtis Davis. She lovingly served her family as a homemaker.
Lewanna was united in marriage to Phillip William Cutter on January 24, 1953. This union was blessed with four children: Fern, Ralph, Ronald and Mildred. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN.
Lewanna enjoyed morning coffee, sitting on her porch and visiting greeting card shops to read the funny cards. She loved Jesus, her husband, her children and her grandchildren. Additionally, she loved the children she taught in Sunday School classes which she enjoyed teaching for over 50 years.
Lewanna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Phillip William Cutter; parents, Anthony Lott and Fern Curtis Davis; brother, Robert Lott: and grandson, Nathan Bradly Willett. She is survived by her children: Fern Willett and her husband, Vance, Ralph Cutter and his wife, Peggy, Ronald Cutter and his wife, Rhonda and Mildred Childers and her husband, Gerald; brothers, Earl Lott and Tony Lott; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Lewanna's family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 6950 East Raymond Street, Indianapolis, IN 46239. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Vance J. Willett and Pastor Dan Tidd officiating. A committal service will take place at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, IN.
