Leslie Ann Davis, age 62, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 23, 2021. Leslie was born in Dayton, OH on December 24, 1958. She was the daughter of Richard "Dick" and Jean (Miltenberger) Davis.



In her spare time, Leslie enjoyed spending time gardening, reading, and crafting. She was a veracious reader consuming countless books. Her favorite reads were murder mysteries with her favorite authors being Agatha Christie, Robert Ludlum, James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark and Sue Grafton. She enjoyed these mysteries so much that she named her daughter, Jessica, after "Jessica Fletcher" who was the main character in "Murder She Wrote." Leslie was also an animal lover and participated in various causes supporting animal welfare. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was extremely proud of them. She never met a stranger and was an avid story teller who could have a conversation with anyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.



Leslie is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica (Alex Byrd) Davis of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Lily (Troy McKinney) Pope of Indianapolis, Violet Davis of Cincinnati and expected granddaughter, "Bean" Byrd; grandson, Caleb Davis of Cincinnati; great-granddaughter, Amelia McKinney of Indianapolis; and her best friend of over 30 years, Sue Hammergren of Dayton.



Along with her parents, Leslie was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Davis.



A private family burial will take place in the David's Cemetery, Kettering, OH.
