Leo Ware

Indianapolis - Leo Ware, 79, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He was born August 29, 1942 in Shirley, IN to the late Loren Marion and Lula Lovel Saunders Ware. He graduated in 1960 from Knightstown High School. Leo was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by the Xerox Corporation where he served as a service specialist for over 37 years. He enjoyed travelling, fishing and photography, but more than anything else, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Loren Mari0n and Lula Lovel Saunders Ware; daughter, Brenda Lee Ware; and siblings, Ralph Ware, Robert Ware and Marceile Baker. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Terri Walker Ware; daughter, Carol L. Jamison and her husband, Russell; son, Kyle R. Ware and his wife, Megan; sister, Sonja A. Wells; granddaughter, Paige Mikayla Jamison; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.

Leo's family will receive friends Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 10 – 11 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted at 11 am with Andrew Koehling officiating. Contributions may be made, in Leo's memory, to the charitable organization of your choice. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception until 1 pm.
