Lawrence Gordon Hopkins

Indianapolis - Lawrence Gordon "Larry" Hopkins, 66, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021. He was born April 18, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN to John M. Hopkins and the late Eugenia Johnson Bence. He was employed in the commercial painting industry where he served as a painter. He enjoyed fishing on the weekends and participated in many bass tournaments with his good friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Eugenia Johnson Bence; son, Shane Wiggam; and brothers, John and Tim Hopkins. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy J. Hopkins: father, John M. Hopkins; daughter, Kelly Carson; son, Mike Wiggam and his wife, Sara; sister, Jill Morrison and her husband, Tedd; brothers, Leonard and Ted Hopkins; grandchildren: Tyler Wiggam, Kaitlin Wiggam, Darien Wiggam and Gavin Carson; and many other close family members and friends.

A celebration of Larry's life will be conducted Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 11 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
