Kody Ryan Farrar

Kody Ryan Farrar, age 18, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly at his residence on December 25, 2021. Kody was born in Indianapolis on October 1, 2003, he was the son of to John Farrar and Mary Ann (Kortz) Ferguson.

Kody worked as a team member for White Castle. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, making music, making everyone around him laugh, eating good food. Kody especially loved spending time with his family and girlfriend, Jazzmin.

Kody is survived by his loving father, John (Rachel Marie Keil) Farrar of Indianapolis; mother, Mary Ann Ferguson of Greencastle, IN; siblings, Kyler Farrar, Kalie Farrar, Kara Farrar, Kaedin Keil-Farrar; nephews, Maverick Farrar and Anden Farrar; niece, Aaralynn Farrar; grandparents, Michael and Kitty Kortz, Donald and Candace Foster, and Ruby Foster; uncle, Uriah Kortz; sister-in-law, Marissa Farrar; and girlfriend, Jazzmin Randolph; and many close friends who will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice Kortz.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 7:00 pm with Kody's uncle, Pastor Joseph "Joe" Kortz officiating. Cremation will take place later.
