Kimberley G. Collins, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt, passed away on July 3, 2024, in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on July 16, 1960, in Beech Grove, Indiana to Robert J. Glover and Judith A. (Sare) Murphy.
Kimberley graduated from Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis in 1978, laying the foundation for her life filled with love and kindness. Kimberley dedicated her career to serving as a Claims Administrator for Anthem Insurance Company. Her work ethic and compassion touched the lives of many throughout her career.
Known for her selfless nature, Kimberley always prioritized taking care of others before herself. She cherished spending time with her husband, Brian and their dogs. Her love for the beach brought her peace and joy whenever she had the chance to visit.
In her free time, Kimberley enjoyed pursuits such as photography, planting flowers, bluegill fishing, and passionately cheering on the Indianapolis Colts. Her hobbies reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
One of Kimberley's proudest accomplishments was marrying the love of her life, Brian S. Collins, in Brown County in Bloomington, Indiana on August 25, 2006. Their union was a testament to their deep bond and unwavering commitment to each other.
Kimberley will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: her husband, Brian S. Collins; son, Michael L. Childers; sisters, Cathy Yeager, Karen Kegley, Christie Duckworth; brothers, Mike Glover, Steve Freers and Scott Freers; uncle, Jerry (Clem) Sare; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were all touched by her kindness and love.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Glover; mother, Judy Murphy; grandparents, Robert and Josephine Glover; grandparents, Wayne and Rhoena Sare; uncle, James Sare; all of whom she held dear to her heart.
Kimberley G. Collins leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she made the world a brighter place with her presence.
