Kim Jensen Riker

Kim (Jensen) Riker, 57, lifelong resident of Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Greenwood Healthcare Center in Greenwood, Indiana. She was born on Thursday, June 13, 1963 to Charles William Jensen and Sharon Lee Curren in Beech Grove, Indiana.

Kim graduated from Beech Grove High School, class of 1981. She then went on to receive her Phlebotomist certification. She loved going to the casino. Kim was very giving and would give the shirt of her back if someone was in need. She was also bubbly and funny.

Kim is survived by her daughter, Heidi Shipley; mother, Sharon Lee Curren and her husband, Ron; sisters, Karen Harris and Julie Lantz; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; step-siblings, Tim Curren and Julie Cory; and long-time friend, Curtis Clampit.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Jensen, grandparents, George and Edna Jensen and her beloved grandmother, Mary Jones.

The Riker's family will receive guest from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with her brother-in-law Michael C. Lantz officiating. For the health and safety of all guest attending, face masks are required. Thank you.
