Kelly Jean Hawkins

Kelly Jean Hawkins, a beloved homemaker, departed from this world on July 15, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories. She was born on November 9, 1966, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and took her last breath in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Throughout her life, Kelly was known for her warm and nurturing personality. She had a heart full of love and compassion, always there to listen and offer wise advice. Her inclusive nature made everyone feel welcomed in her presence. Kelly's determination and stubbornness were qualities that guided her through life's challenges with grace.

Kelly found joy in simple pleasures like coloring, picture tracing, and spoiling her grandchildren. Family gatherings were where she truly shined, reveling in the joy of reminiscing and catching up with loved ones.

Among Kelly's proudest accomplishments were her husband Stanley Hawkins and their beautiful family. 

Her memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family members: Michael Dodd (son), Jeremy Dodd (son), Brandy Hawkins (daughter), Kara Hawkins (daughter), Tamicka Gregory (stepdaughter), Jeffery Hawkins (stepson), Samantha Hawkins (stepdaughter), Jamie Williams (brother), Jeff Williams (brother), Derrick Small (brother), Ashley Small (sister), Gary Givens (uncle), Debi Givens (aunt), Lena Williams (aunt), Mildred Williams (aunt), Tommy Williams (uncle), Bobo Williams (uncle), Tereasa Mills (cousin), Peggy Mathis (mother-in-law), Nancy Hawkins (sister-in-law), John Hawkins (brother-in-law) as well as numerous grandchildren.

Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hawkins; father, Darrel Williams; mother, Rebecca Williams and brother, Mark Williams

Kelly's life will be celebrated at the visitation service to be held on July 23, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Indianapolis. She may have left this world physically, but her spirit of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Kelly Jean Hawkins. Your memory will forever remain a blessing to us all.
