Karalea M. Anderson

In the early morning of Tuesday, February 21 2023, Karalea Michelle Anderson won her fight against a slew of ongoing medical issues and passed away on her own terms. She was surrounded by love and comfort at the time of her Passing.

Kara was a beautiful person and a beautiful soul. She was born January 11, 1986 in Indianapolis. She was loved by many, with people around the country and the world considering her family. Kara was preceded in death by her father, Rickey Lee Dye, and her dad, Steven Wayne Burns.

Kara is survived by her grandmother Jennie "Mikie" Anderson, mother Leslie Latshaw, step-father Neil Latshaw, husband Rick Sutherland, her baby sister and best friend Kelli McDaniel, sister Maddie Latshaw brother Hunter Latshaw, brother Kodiak Kite, and sister Kristi Damgaard.

Kara had a love of true crime podcasts, urban fantasy, paranormal romance novels, and various fantasy roleplaying games. She loved faries, flowers and everything to do with nature, and took comfort in the warmth of the sun on her face.

Kara's wishes were to have no formal services. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions is honored to handle Kara's final arrangements.
