Julia C. Taylor

Julia C. Taylor, 90 of Indianapolis, passed away on December 13, 2017. Julia was born in Indianapolis on June 3, 1927 to Cecil L. & Susie Slinkard. On January 10, 1948 she married Robert H. Taylor. She had worked for Lane Bryant and attended Gray Road Baptist Church and New Beginnings Church most recently. She will be remembered for her musical talents that she used playing the piano for Calvary United Methodist Church; she volunteered at the Community Hospital and loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Julia is survived by her children and their spouses: Timothy A. & Linda Taylor of Whit Lake, Michigan, Andrew R. & Judy Taylor of Kentwood, Michigan, Tarea S. & Jim Kirby of Garland, Texas, Anna L. & Ric Anderson of Elyria, Ohio, Ami E. Higgins and Skip Sweet of Mooresville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters: Margie Walker and Norma Williamson.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 15 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227. Her Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
