Judy Ellen Bell Parker

Indianapolis - Judy B. Parker, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020. She was born October 25, 1946 in Louisville, KY to the late Elmer Bell and Alberta Bell Ellis. She loved her hometown of Frankfort, KY where she grew up. Judy enjoyed embroidery and reading, but most of all, she loved to shop. Judy was employed by the Indianapolis Star for 30 years where she worked as a proofreader. She attended Berean Baptist Church.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Edward Parker; sons, Don Raley (Sharon) and Christopher Raley (Lesley); step-daughter, Luanna Fossmeyer (Christian); sister, Connie Page; brothers, Larry and Jeffrey Bell; grandchildren: Amanda, Anna and Mia; step-grandchildren: Keegan, Claire, Mackenzie, Christina, Benjamin, Jennifer, George and Nathan; 11 step great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, Roxie; and many other loving family members and friends.

Judy's family will receive friends Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A memorial service will follow at 1 pm. For the health and safety of all guests attending, face masks are required. Thank you.
