Judith Darlene Check

Indianapolis - Judith "Judy" Darlene (Coen) Check, 70, passed away at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her residence. She was born to the late Raymond and Georgia Coen on August 8, 1950 in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Judy was united in marriage on April 5, 1980 to Dennis Check in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Shelbyville High School, class of 1968. Judy was a secretary at Stop 11 Church of Christ formerly known as Garfield Church of Christ. She has been a member at Stop 11 Church of Christ since 1980. Judy enjoyed vacationing, reading, and attending church. Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Hunter and Julia Check; her son, Matthew Check; her grandchildren, Timothy Handlon, Mariah Handlon, Ben Handlon, Jaden Spears, Julian Spears, and Macy Check; and her siblings, Terry Coen and Sandra Allen. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Braden Spears.

Judy's friends may visit from 11 am - 12 pm, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
