Joseph J. Spaulding, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 9, 2016.
He was born on April 1, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Jessie Alberta (Jones) Spaulding. Joe served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of Sargent. Joseph worked for NAPA Balkamp as a Reclass Coordinator until his retirement in 2014. In his retirement he worked for FedEx.
Joseph is survived by his wife: Peggy, whom he married on July 19, 1993; his children and their spouses: Gerald "Tony" Spaulding Sr., Arthur Dillard, Michael & Tia J. Spaulding, Aukisha Dillard & Marvin Nicks, Brandon & Michelle Spaulding, Tina Thompson, Joe & Rachael Thompson; 22 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a child: Sherron Elaine Spaulding, two grandchildren: Donovan Edward Thompson-Fox, Gerald Spaulding Jr; two brothers: Timothy Spaulding and Andre Spaulding.
