Joseph Edmond Morris

Greenwood - Joseph Edmond "Joe" Morris, 86, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born May 8, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John and Elizabeth Morris. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army.

Joe's hobbies included working on old televisions and taking care of his church, Tallwood Chapel Community Church. He loved being around kids and dogs. He absolutely loved Christmas time and enjoyed driving around looking at Christmas lights.

Joe is survived by his sisters, Nancy Fraker and Florence Pritchett and his extended family: Joe and Brenda Bertel, AJ Bertel, Bryan and Amy Bertel and their kids, Chad and Julie Bertel and their kids and all his four legged friends.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Joe's memory, to Tallwood Chapel Community Church, 5560 Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

Joe's family will receive friends Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 11 am - 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A celebration of his life will be conducted at 1 pm at the funeral home. A committal service will be conducted privately.
