Indianapolis – Joseph Anthony "Joe" McClanahan, 52, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018.
Joe was born November 13, 1965 in Medina, OH. Joe worked as a skilled carpenter in the construction industry. Because of his compassion for helping others, he was able to be there for family and friends when disaster had struck their homes. Joe's passion was riding his Harley, taking road trips with his fiancé, Beth and brother, Dan. Joe enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, boating, auto racing and sports. He was always up for entertaining family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts!
Joe was preceded in death by his father, John Michael McClanahan. He is survived by his fiancé, Susan Beth Stover; mother, Edith Marie Ferrario; siblings, Daniel McClanahan, Annie May, Theresa Becker, and Sean McClanahan; children, David Anthony Becker, Michial David Cabe and Kevin Allen Cabe; nieces and nephews, Jennifer May, Heather May, Robert May, Andrea Becker and Cody McClanahan; grandchildren, Katherine Cabe and Peyton Cabe; K-9 Companion, Babygirl; and many other loving family members and close friends.
Joe's family will receive friends Monday, March 19, 2018, from 4 – 8 pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225. A committal service will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
