Mr. Armstrong was born August 8, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN. He was employed in rental property maintenance. He loved to fish.
Mr. Armstrong is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela "Pam" Armstrong; sons, Joe Armstrong, Jr. and Randy Armstrong; daughters, April Preston and her husband, John and Nikki Armstrong; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Mr. Armstrong's family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 10 am at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
