Mooresville - Johnny Andrew Hotseller, 80, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016, at 2:48 AM at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN as a result of medical complications. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Johnny was born in Indianapolis on July 9, 1935. He was the son of Andy and Mabel Hotseller. Johnny was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army where he served in the airborne division during the Korean War. He retired from International Harvester after 38 years. Johnny also worked as a reserve deputy for the Marion County Sheriff's Department and the Homecroft Police Department
After Johnny's retirement, he enjoyed camping, fishing and boating. But most of all he loved to fly his Cessna 150 airplane. Johnny was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Johnny Hotseller was preceded in death by his father, Andy Hotseller; mother, Mabel Hotseller; sisters, Linda Kaye and Carolyn Jean; brothers, Joseph and Dennis Hotseller; daughter, Debbie Parrish; and son, Johnny Andrew Hotseller Jr.
Johnny is survived by his daughter, Donna Hayes and her husband, Donald; son, Andrew Hotseller and his wife, Sarah; grandsons, Michael Hotseller and Chase Smith and one great grandchild.
