Jimmy Wesley Hendrix, Jr.

Indianapolis - Jimmy Wesley Hendrix, Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. Jimmy was born July 21, 1955 in Jasper, AL. He was employed by the Diamond Chain Company where he served as a machine operator. He loved Indy car racing, sports and music, particularly rock, the blues and country.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Hendrix, Sr. He is survived by his beloved mother, Bertha Parsley; step-father, Brad Parsley; brother, Kenneth "Kenny" Hendrix and his wife, Tracey; sister, Debra Craig; and many other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of Jimmy's life will be conducted Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 4 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. At the conclusion of the service, Jimmy's family will receive friends until 8 p.m.
