Jessie Hernandez

Jessie Hernandez, a beloved homemaker and devoted matriarch, passed away on October 27, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 63. Born on July 16, 1961, in San Bernardino, California, Jessie dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her family. Her fiery spirit was evident in all aspects of her life, though she preferred to stay out of the limelight and away from the camera Jessie's culinary talents were cherished by all who knew her, as her family looked forward to the delicious meals she would prepare with love and care. A passionate cook, Jessie took immense joy in bringing her loved ones together around the dinner table, sharing not only food but precious moments that would become treasured memories.

While her favorite actor was the charismatic Vin Diesel, it’s her love for family that defines Jessie's legacy. She is survived by her daughter Victoria (Christopher) Yancoskie, and her three sons: Salvador "Sal" (Angela) Pacheco, Anthony Pacheco, and Paul Pacheco. Jessie was a proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.

Jessie was also a loving sister to her brothers John, Miguel, David, Javier, Richard, and Ezekiel Hernandez. In addition to her siblings, she is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Preceding her in death were her parents and four siblings, Marthin Hernandez, Henry Hernandez, David Hernandez, and Martha Hernandez. Their memory will live on as they welcomed Jessie with open arms.

The love Jessie spread throughout her life serves as a lasting reminder of the importance of family, food, and shared moments. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
