Jerald "Jay" Lynne Richardson

Jerald Lynne Richardson, known as Jay, passed away on December 18, 2024, in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana, where he was born on March 23, 1950. 

Jay was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his daughter, Barbara Richardson (Terry Moberly), and son, Jerald Richardson Jr. (Eileen Seifert Richardson). He shared a bond with them that was both nurturing and supportive, shaping their lives through his wisdom, kindness, and love for animals. Jay is also survived by his former spouse, Lee Ann Richardson, with whom he shared many years and cherished memories.

 Jay had a special connection with Rev. Mona Safley. Their friendship exemplified loyalty and compassion, bringing joy not only to each other but also to everyone fortunate enough to witness their fellowship.

In keeping with Jay's wishes, no services will be held, however memorial donations in his name may be made to Society of St. Vincent De Paul, 10 E O and M Avenue, North Vernon, Indiana 47265.

As we remember Jay, we reflect on the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. His legacy will endure through the love of his family and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
