Jeffery Freeland Dalton

Indianapolis - Jeffery Freeland Dalton, 48, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born December 26, 1972 in Indianapolis to John Dalton and Nancy Richey Terry. He graduated from Manual High School in 1991 and Ivy Tech Community College in 2017. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting clocks and drinking Crown Royal, but more than anything else, he loved spending time with his family, particularly his sons.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Dalton. He is survived by his beloved wife, Crystal Dalton; sons: Jon, Nicholas and Christian Dalton; parents, Charlie and Nancy Richey Terry; sisters, Teresa Dalton and her companion, Darryl and Carmella Walters and her companion, George; brothers, John Dalton and his wife, Velma and Cordell Terry and his wife, Sherri; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Jeffery's family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4 – 7 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating. A committal service will follow at Floral Park Cemetery, 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
