Born on February 5, 1958, in Richmond, Jeannie was bestowed with a radiant spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Graduating from Carmel High School in 1976, she embarked on a successful career in the insurance industry, ultimately serving as a dedicated human resources director.
Jeannie's life was a tapestry woven with love for her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren—Adriana, Eastan, Evangeline, and Liberty. Her commitment to family was unwavering, and she found profound joy in cooking family dinners, creating memorable moments that will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she nurtured.
In addition to her familial devotion, Jeannie found delight in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed traveling, each journey a chance to explore the world's beauty. A lover of fashion, she had a penchant for clothes shopping and a fondness for all things sparkly, embodying a vibrant personality that shone through in every facet of her life.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Richard Bryson; her daughters, Ashley Davis and Lauren Jeffers; her son, Evan Bryson; and her sister, Rebecca VanSlyke. She leaves a legacy of love and warmth that will endure through her family, who will carry forward her spirit of compassion and joyous living.
Jeannie is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Arlene Gulley Fraley, as well as her siblings, Larry, Robert, Joey, Steve, and Janna Kay Fraley. Their memories intertwine with hers, creating a familial bond that withstands the passage of time.
A visitation will be held on February 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A funeral service will follow on February 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the same location, concluding with a burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, where she will rest alongside loved ones.
Jeannie Bryson will be forever remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and a passionate individual whose kindness and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift, reminding us of the power of love and family.
