INDIANAPOLIS – Jason Scott Nibarger, 48, passed away on January 3, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 26, 1975 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jason attended Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis, IN.
His hobbies were detailing cars and doing all sorts of outdoor activities. Jason loved spending time with his family and making money. He enjoyed going on trips and playing jokes on the kids around him. Jason’s favorite beverage was Mt. Dew.
Everyone knew Jason as funny, sociable and respectful. He was the most outgoing person and never met a stranger! Jason always wore a smile and had a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back if it would help in any way. Jason had an abundance of love to give.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra LaVern (Nibarger) Sells; daughter, Gabriella Anne Nibarger; sons, Joshua Scott Nibarger and Jordan Michael Nibarger; sister, Ashley Sells; brother, Johnny Sells; aunt, Tammy Sells; grandchildren: Carsen, Korbyn, Keagan and Kayden Nibarger; nieces, Raquel Rivera-Sells and Emerald Jackson; nephews: Xavier Johnson, Dylan Rowe and Johnny Sells Jr.; grandmother, Melva Sells; and a host of cousins who loved Jason very much.
Jason was preceded in death by his uncles, Steven and Raymond Nibarger and aunts, Karen Mitchell and Sharon Potts.
Jason’s friends and family may visit from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Garry Brackett officiating.
