Janice VanCleave, 80, of Indianapolis died August 29, 2015.
Born to William and Virginia Kegley Fendley on December 8, 1934 in Indianapolis. She graduated from Southport High School in 1952. Her and Donald were married in May of 1977 and together they owned and operated the Barrington Lounge. She also had worked for the State of Indiana, Department of Emergency Management. She was an avid sports fan loving Reggie Miller.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law: Randall Putnam, Brian & Andrea Putnam, Dan & Cindy Putnam all of Indianapolis; step-sons and their wives: Donald & Teryna VanCleave, Gregory VanCleave; step daughters and their husbands: Linda & John Sanders, Angie VanCleave; Michelle & Anthony Davidson; Dejuana VanCleave Barrett; grandchildren: Cory Putnam, Elizabeth Putnam, Michael Putnam, Jeremy Putnam, Ashley Heiney, Brianne Chatham, Ryan Putnam, Travis Putnam and Tyler Putnam, several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husbands: Norbert "Doc" Putnam; Donald VanCleave Sr., sons: Norbert Putnam III and Mark Putnam; son-in-law: Paul Barrett.
