Indianapolis - James "N. L." Peel, 85, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017.
Mr. Peel was born October 9, 1932 in Oiltrough, AK. Prior to his retirement in 1994 he was employed by Jenn-Air where he served as a model maker for kitchen appliances. He enjoyed bowling and watching Nascar.
Mr. Peel was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Peel. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Nancy Peel; daughters, Connie Snyder and her husband, Larry, Judy Luna and her husband, Melvin, Rebecca Groce and her husband, Terry, Patty Covert and her husband, James and Teresa and her spouse, Renee; son, James Peel; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Peel's family will receive friends, Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, November 13, 2017, at 10 am at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
