Indianapolis - James Patrick "Buddy" Miles, 66, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. He was born March 23, 1955 in Indianapolis to the late John and Martha Shaffer Miles. He spent the majority of his life in the Fountain Square area.
Buddy attended Harry E. Wood High School. He left before he completed his education in order to go to work and help support his family financially. He worked for Church's Chicken and Lane Bryant.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Shaffer Miles; sister, Julie Miles Barnes; and half-brother, Jerry Miles. He is survived by his brothers, Jeffery and Joseph Miles; half-brother, John Miles; sister-in-law, Lisa Finley Miles; nieces, Melissa Miles Haseman and Megan Miles Al-Hassani; nephew, Matthew Miles; beloved dog, Tucker; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Services will be conducted privately.
