Noblesville - James Lloyd Good, 84, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020. He was born January 13, 1936 in Sheldon, IL to the late Ralph and Lucille Hoakes Good. He grew up in Rensselaer, IN. Jim was an honorably discharged veteran of the Indiana National Guard. He was the owner/operator of Custom Cabinets by Jim Good. While he had many interests, he was most passionate about cabinetry and his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lucille Good; his beloved wife, Ruth Good; son, Darren Williamson; and brothers, Ralph Jr. and Gaylord Good. He is survived by his daughters: Connie Bowman and her husband, Lenny, Kimberly Wise and her husband, Earl, Dawn Williamson, Nancy Hiatt and her husband, Mike and Natalie Wilkins; sons, Jeff Good and Bryan Good and his wife, Kim ; grandchildren: Missy and Mike Partain, Lindsay and Jeremy Davis, Darrell and Melissa Melton, Jack and Becky Hiatt, Sara Hiatt, Stephen and Dulcie Overdorf, John and Lindsey Brooks, Nathan Brooks, Anna Good and Tyler Cox, Chris Good, Mike, Nick and Riley Williamson, and Amanda and Scott Suter; great grandchildren: Tanner and Erin, Mason, DeLaney, Harley, Max and Hayley, Kenzie, Wayne, Vincent, Lillian, Bryson, Blake, Kayli, Olivia, Hannah, Jeremiah, Benjamin, Kane, Grant, Benny, Carson and Prestin; great-great grandson, Calin; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.
Jim's family will receive friends Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tony Johnson and Pastor Joel Phillips officiating. A committal service will be conducted at 2:30 pm at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 5070 IN-135, Nashville, IN 47448.
