Indianapolis – James Edward Garland, 60, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016.
Mr. Garland was born August 20, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the Local 440 Union where he served as a pipe fitter and welder for over 28 years.
Mr. Garland is survived by his beloved wife, Antoinette "Toni" Garland; son, James "Jimmy" Garland; sisters, Patricia "Trisha" Christerson, Linda Dunseth and her husband, Bob, Debbie Doolittle and her husband, Joel and Rebecca "Becky" Jordan and her husband, Wade; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Mr. Garland's family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of Mr. Garland's life will be conducted Friday, April 29, 2016, at 10 am at the funeral home.
