Indianapolis - James Kirby Farris, Sr., 72, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017.
Mr. Farris was born March 30, 1944 in Lafayette, IN. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School. He was employed as a foreman at Merico Inc. in the refrigerated dough products industry.
Mr. Farris is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Sharon D. Farris; daughters, Christie Hall and Samantha Farris; sons, James K. Farris, Jr., Joshua James Farris, Gabriel Farris and Josh Farris; sister, Juanita O'Brien and her husband, Tom; aunt, Gladys Farris; granddaughters, Hailey and Madison Hall; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
The Farris family will receive friends Monday, February 13, 2017, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will be conducted Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Cleve Morton officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Cemetery.
