James Brummett

James Brummett, age 72 of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness. He was born July 10, 1949 to James T. Brummett and Joyce (Paul) Hankins. James worked for Post Road Movers for over 15 years and Heartland Automotive for a year. He enjoyed driving his pick-up truck and watching westerns. James liked the simple things in life and peace and quiet.
James' family includes 2 sons, James T. Brummett and Elvis J. Brummett; daughter, Jenny Arthur; 2 sisters, Shirly Clark and Ruth Lemons; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Brummett, Austin Brummett, Anthony Lanza, and Elia Lanza; and numerous extended family members.
James' was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harlan Brummett; and sister, Jesse Gill.
James' wishes were to be cremated and have a private service. Newcomer Funeral Home in honored to handle Jame's cremation.
