Jacquelyn Joann McDonough, age 39 of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2023. She was born May 28, 1984 in Indianapolis, the daughter of John McDonough and Rose (Hill) Waggoner. Jacki attended Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis. She most recently worked for Fastenal as a sortation manager. Jacki had many hobbies including, playing softball, cards, going tanning and listening to music. She was a beautiful woman and enjoyed doing her makeup and hair. Jacki enjoyed making people laugh and was always finding time to take selfies. She had a large heart for all children, but her two kids were the light of her life. Jacki loved all of her family and spending as much time as she could with her kids, brothers and sisters, and her nieces. If you were one of Jacki's friends then you were just like family to her. More than anything, Jacki will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, daughter, and aunt and she will be missed dearly and loved forever.
Jacquelyn is survived by her 2 children, Danny Ray Gill III and Brailey Douglas; mother, Rose Waggoner; 5 siblings, John E. McDonough, Josh McDonough, Summer McDonough, Ryan McDonough and Melissa Palmer; sister-in-law, Tricia McDonough; 8 nieces, Ashlyn McDonough, Aleeya McDonough, Adleigh McDonough, Aariyah McDonough, Avaeh McDonough, Haley McDonough, Tea McDonough and Jordan McDonough; nephew, Austin Palmer; and numerous cousins and friends.
Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her father; Grandma and Grandpa Hill; 3 aunts, Robin, Rita and Karen; 2 uncles, Randy and Bill; and 6 cousins, Ashley Groff, Samantha Koenig, Sabrina Koenig, Bill Koenig, John Witt and Jake McDonough.
A funeral service celebrating Jacquelyn's life will take place at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
