Gloria "Deanie" Diggs

Gloria Dean Diggs, 74, of Beech Grove, passed away on February 5, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Indianapolis to Otha and Mary (Ford) Simpson on February 24, 1941.

Deanie is survived by her daughters: Melody Ann Lundsford of Beech Grove, Kimberly Sue Woolery of Indianapolis; nieces: Tina Loschky, Tammy Stansifer both of Beech Grove; brother: Hulon Simpson of Bargersville; grandchildren: Richard Lee Woolery II, Mindy Sue Woolery, Michael Timothy Lundsford, Gabriel Joseph Woolery, Mandy Catherine Lundsford; great-grandchildren: Ben Christopher Loschky, Breanna Loschky, Katelyn Hope Woolery, Kaleb Joseph Carl Woolery, Tristen Lee Thomas Woolery, Talon Michael Leslie Woolery, Tyler Patrick Moran Woolery, Angelina Michelle Woolery, Austin Michael Lee Lundsford, Parker Allen Lundsford, Chase Donel Lundsford, Caiden Lee Lundsford; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Ruby Simpson, Margaret "Tutti" Orange, Zelma "Sis" Stanifer, William "Bill" Simpson, Artis Simpson, Charles "Pejo" Simpson, John Simpson, Kenneth Simpson, Otha "Peanut" Simpson, Ralph Simpson.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Deanie will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Garden. Calling will be on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
