George Larry Sanders

Indianapolis - George Larry "Goo" Sanders Jr., 75, transitioned from Labor to Reward on January 12th, 2020 at the Waters Nursing Home. He was born September 30, 1944 to his parents, George and Edna Sanders (Brown).
George graduated from Harriet E. Wood High School. He worked as an attendant at Central State Hospital for over twenty years. George later drove for Red Cab. George was the President of the Watoto Wa Sinbas. He enjoyed playing pool, watching sports, he loved listing to James Brown and dancing. Larry was a "Ladies Man" and was the life of the party.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna, son, Darryl D. Sanders, sister's; Beverly Sanders and Arlene Cross.
He is survived by his siblings; Donnie E. Sanders, Janice C. Sanders, Karen E. Lee, Carol J. Sanders, and Adrian L. Sanders.
Mr. Sander's family will receive friends, Friday, January 17, 2020, from 11 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A Home Going Celebration of his life will begin at 12 pm.
