Geneva B. Combs

INDIANAPOLIS – Geneva B. Napier Combs, 79, passed away at 1:11 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her residence. She was born on December 28, 1943 to the late Mack and Callie Couch Napier in Blue Diamond, Kentucky. She was united in marriage on May 16, 1964 to Eugene Combs in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Geneva is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Eugene Combs; sons, Jeffrey Wayne “Jeff” Combs and his wife, Mindy and Toddy ("Todd") Gene Combs and his wife, Jessie; siblings, Irene Sabia and Ronnie Napier; grandchildren: Amanda Alvey (Cory), Michael Combs (Destiny), Brooke Speicher (Cameron), Brian Gephart (Candi), Donnie LaFollette (Tiffany), Amber Collins (Clayton), Cameron Combs, Logan Waites (Emily) and Kaylee Combs; and great grandchildren: Hunter Alvey, Jessie Alvey, Kaydence Combs, Blaize Combs, Mya Brown, Ava Brown, Jada Hartley, Lexi Speicher, Bryce Gephart, Lilly Gephart, Breydon LaFollette, Dallas LaFollette, Alana Garten, Chase LaFollette, Alyssa Jo Choco, Willow Cummings and Ender Cummings.

Geneva was a proud wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.

Geneva friends and family may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Garry Brackett officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, 2703 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225.
