Indianapolis - Gary Richard Anderson, Jr., 56, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Mr. Anderson was born June 23, 1960 in Indianapolis. He was employed as an auto mechanic. Mr. Anderson's family described him as a very caring man who loved everyone and worked hard to provide for his family. He will be dearly missed by everyone he knew.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his daughter, Stacey Lucas-Diaz and her husband, Melvin; sons, Chad Anderson, Gary Anderson III and David Harris; father, Gary Anderson, Sr.; sisters, Beth Gourley and her husband, James and Eileen Scurlock and her husband, Ed; brothers, Jeffery, James and Michael Anderson; granddaughters, Casey and Alexis Harris and Audriana, Jenny and Alina Diaz; grandson Cody Harris; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Mr. Anderson's family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2017, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
