Evelyn R. Spencer, 72, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Indianapolis. Evelyn was born on September 8, 1945 in Russell Springs, Kentucky to Eddie and Sadie (Polston) Crockett.
Evelyn is survived by her loving husband: Ray Spencer; children and their spouses: Patricia A. & Ramon Ewing, Lisa K. Allison, Doyle J. & Christine Popplewell, Jason R. & Angie Spencer, Angel M. Spencer, Dennis Sweazey; grandchildren: Felisa, John, Ciara, Jamie, James, Alissa, Breanna, Brittney, Stacey, Jordan, Alexia, Tyler, Hailee, Brooklyn, Michael, Destiny, Brandon, Khaidyn, Brailyn; great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Drayden, Jaylen, Sophia, Wyatt, Julius, Jayveon, Ja'lycia, Jayle'ana; siblings: Betty, Vern, Glenda, Wanda, Marsha; special niece: Kimberly, special nephews: Eric, Tooter, Jr. and a host of other family and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Don, Euclid, Clyde, Hubert, Ronnie, Jeffrey; and a great-grandchild: Joshua.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 11 A.M. until for Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
