Indianapolis – Ernest "Jim" Blaylock went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 12, 2015.
Mr. Blaylock was born December 28, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN. He was employed by IMC where he served as a welder. Mr. Blaylock was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Tabernacle of Faith.
Mr. Blaylock was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Nancy Blaylock. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Rose Blaylock; sons, Mike, Mark and Joe; daughters, Theresa, Roxanne, Debbie and Terri; brothers, Timmy, Kent, and Leonard; sisters, Shirley, Kim, Barbara, Sis, Sandy and Betty; lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Mr. Blaylock's family will receive friends Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 10 am – 12 pm at Tabernacle of Faith at 801 Shelby Street in Indianapolis. A celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Terri Mullinix officiating.
