Eric Jacob Ping

Indianapolis - Eric Jacob Ping, age 28, left this world at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 surrounded by family at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the loving son of Kenneth and Brenda (Bryant) Ping. Eric was born on March 17, 1993 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was an avid sports fan. Eric enjoyed fishing, dancing and anything with wheels (he could ride or drive without lessons). He loved music and singing. Eric was a natural comedian and fashion designer (always dressed fresh). He was always on the go and could never sit still. Eric never met a stranger and if you were his person, you knew it because he loved hard.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Brenda Ping; his sister, Jami Bryant; his nieces, Jaycee and Baylee Tyler; as well as numerous friends and family. Eric was preceded in death by his loving grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Messer officiating.
