Enrique Daniel Hinojosa

Enrique "Rikki" Daniel Hinojosa, born on December 22, 1984, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Ramiro Hinojoso and Jill Frances Cooper, passed away on August 19, 2024, in his beloved hometown. A dedicated Concrete Finisher for Kent's Concrete, Enrique was known for his strong work ethic and passion for construction. He attended Decatur Central High School and went on to build successful career that reflected hands-on expertise and commitment to quality work.

Enrique was a family-oriented individual whose life revolved around the loves of his life, his children: Maria Lenor, Enrique Daniel, and Gabriel James Hinojosa. He held a deep appreciation for family, often cherishing moments spent with them. His strong faith was an integral part of his personality, as he actively participated in endeavors at Grace Baptist Church, where he was a member and enjoyed engaging in Bible Study.

An array of hobbies kept Enrique fulfilled. He had a zeal for gaming, sports, and construction of all sorts. Yet, it was his time spent with family that truly brought him joy, especially moments with his brother, Gabe, and his nieces, Sofie and Vaida. Enrique also held a special place in his heart for his Grandma Hinojoso, showing a tender reverence for family ties.

Enrique's legacy will be remembered not only through his work but in the memories cherished by those who loved him. He is survived by his parents, Ramiro Hinojoso and Jill Frances Cooper; his step-dad, Chris Culver, children, his brother, Gabriel (Ashley Franklin) Hinojoso; and a loving extended family including aunts and uncles, Nora Hinojoso, Joan and Manuel Hinojoso, Joe Hinojoso, Don and Kay Cooper, Annette Davidson, James Cooper, Stephanie and Jim Jones, Teresa and Denis McKamey, Donna Paxton, and Michael Cooper; as well as cherished nieces, Sofie and Vaida Hinojoso.

He joins his deceased family members, including his grandparents Roberto Hinojoso, James and Lillian Cooper, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, faith, and dedication.

Visitation for Enrique will be held on August 30, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, all taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

His contributions to both his profession and his family will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
