Indianapolis - Edward Ray Shepherd, Jr., 62, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Mr. Shepherd was born November 20, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN. He was employed by Fresh Coat as a painter until his retirement in the early 2000s. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Avon.
Mr. Shepherd is survived by his beloved wife of 4 years, Jacqueline "Jacquie" Shepherd; mother, Agnes Shepherd; sons, Jason and Samuel; daughter, Alicia; brother, Garry; sister, Jody; 4 grandchildren; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Mr. Shepherd's family will receive friends Friday, March 13, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. Interment will be conducted privately at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood.
